
In having lunch with our
Microsoft rep yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to learn that
Wasatch Software generates more revenue for Microsoft than any other partner in Utah, excluding LARs (Large Account Resellers). He also mentioned that we’re near the top of the list in the Western region, and are making waves nationally as we offer
Microsoft volume licensing from coast to coast. I expected they’d send us a plaque or something for this, but it is yet to arrive (tongue in cheek).
We’ve also been gaining great traction with other partners including
HP,
Symantec, and
Kaspersky. If we aren’t already a top revenue generating partner in our state for these vendors as well, we probably will be soon. Here’s hoping that this little fish becomes enough of a thorn in the side over time to those big fish that they want us out of their way!
